A purging compound is a plastic resin compound designed to clean all primary plastic machinery (injection molding machines, blow molding machines, extruders) when changing color, resin or simply to remove black specks or contaminations.Purging Masterbatch is designed for better and efficient clean-up of extrusion, injection and blow molding machines.It is a low cost cleaning compound that saves money through lower wastage and quick change over & reduced down time. Cleaning the film extruders with this compound machine reduces/eliminates specks due to die build-up. It is a versatile, stabilized, and extremely effective purge compound on an LDPE basis specially developed to reduce the cleaning times of extrusion and injection molding plants to a minimum. It should be used before dismantling and cleaning the extruder, during planned and unforeseen extruder downtimes and during material and color changes.It does not contain any abrasive agents and provides with mechanical and chemical cleaning properties.The use of this compound immediately before the cleaning process has shown that downtimes can be reduced by more than 50%!
